Penmanship:SOL 2.11                                                                                                                                                     Students will learn the lowercase cursive letters: p, a, d, and o.

Reading: SOL 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8

On Monday, Feb. 9, students will read pages 82-89 of the story "Hoe to Hide an Octopus and Other Creatures".

On Tuesday, Feb. 10, students will read pages 90-99 of the story "How to Hide an Octopus and Other Sea Creatures".

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, students will read  "How to Hide an Octopus and Other Sea Creatures".  They will also have the vocabulary quiz and the story comprehension test.

On Thursday, Feb. 12, students will read the decodable reader "Mr. Brown Sees the World", the Vocabulary Warm -Up on pages 102-103 and pages 104-113 of the story "How the Guinea Fowl Got Her Spots".

On Friday, Feb. 13, we will read pages 114-123 of the story "How the Guinea Fowl Got Her Spots".

Math: SOL 2.6 Students will add two digit numbers with sums to 99.

Math: SOL 2.7 Students will review subtraction strategies.

Math Facts: Students are reviewing subtracting 0-9 from another number.

Science: Students will begin studying plant life.
