It is our pleasure to welcome you to Riverview Elementary/Middle School: "A Place Where Great Things Happen".  Although we are the largest elementary school in the district, our dedicated staff is committed to meeting the individual needs of all the students and we strive to maintain personal connections with their families.

We are so proud of the hard work and accomplishments of our students and faculty at REMS.  As a result, we begin the 2016-2017 school term with fully accredited status.  As professional educators we recognize that improving our school is a continual process that never ends.  Our 2016-2017 theme is "Collaboratively Committed to Continuous School Improvement" to affirm our commitment  to working together and setting high standards and expectations not only for our students, but also for our faculty at REMS.

The new school year brings many new faculty members, students, and staff to REMS.  We are excited about the changes and new additions to our Riverview Family.  We are eagerly planning activities and programs for the upcoming school year. One new program will be centered around REMS's  BOOK OF THE YEAR "Only One You" written by Linda Kranz.  We will be planning events and activities throughout the year to unite our entire PK-8th grade student body, faculty, and community all centered around the book theme.

We look forward to the new school year!  We encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns you have about the education of your child. It is our desire to see fully involved the parents, faculty, staff and community in order to attain our goals.

We will work hard to see that your child gets the best education possible.  Thank you for allowing the administration, faculty, staff at REMS to be part of your child's education.

With warm regards,

Kim Hess, Elementary Principal PreK-5th Grade
Michelle Bailey, Middle School Principal 6th - 8th Grade
